Ready to try clean beauty but not quite certain where to start? Well, I thought I would do a quick post on some of the best organic, vegan, and cruelty free skincare brands. You can also take a look at this post HERE – it contains a comprehensive list of every nontoxic skincare product that I have tried. You can also see my Instagram (here) for my monthly empties if you want to know my thoughts on skincare in real-time.

Best Organic Skincare Brands

On the Wild Side

This is a French brand that I recently discovered. Their products work really well on my oily-combination skin and would definitely recommend you giving them a try. I’m partial to their moisturizers! My three favorite products are linked here and you can also purchase here.

Juice Beauty

This brand makes really quality products that you should definitely try. I’ve always liked their cleansers, particularly their green apple gel cleanser.

Best Cruelty Free and Vegan Skincare Brands

Typology

This is another French brand but definitely worth the try. I am in the process of trying their Vitamin C serum right now and I’m excited to see what type of results I can expect after a few weeks. You can buy their products here.

Odacite

One of my favorite brands of oil-based serum. I am partial to their eye serum. Their grapefruit and black cumin serums are also great for addressing acne. Many of their products are organic, but not all. My two favorite products are the black cumin oil and the eye contour serum.

Osea

Another one of my favorite brands. I love their moisturizers and cleaners. Unfortunately, they are hard to get in France but definitely would recommend you try this product line if you have not already. Many of their products are organic, but not all. My three favorite products are – (i) the ocean cleanser, (ii) atmosphere protection cream moisturizer, and (iii) blemish moisturizer.

Nécessaire

This is a brand that I am eager to try, but have not tried it yet. Although it has a French name, it is not a French brand. Their products are cruelty free and vegan. I really like their ingredients and look forward to trying them out next time I am in the U.S. You can learn more about their products here.

Antipodes

Another French brand, I discovered this brand shortly after moving to Paris. I absolutely love their ultra hydrating gel and their manuka honey mask.

Pai Skincare

This UK brand is known for its rosehip regenerative face oil, which just happens to be one of the staples in my skincare routine. However, they make many other great products you should try each one packed with quality ingredients.

Bybi

This is an Australian company that makes serum boosters that you can apply directly to the face or mix with a moisturizer. I actually apply their products directly to my skin for maximum potency. I love their bakuchiol booster and their supercharge serum.

Great Nontoxic Skincare Brands to Try

The following two brands did not neatly fit into any category. Some of their products are vegan free and other products are organic. However, they are great brands who make really quality products that you should definitely explore.

Ursa Major

Based in the U.S., this brand takes a holistic approach to skincare. In addition to really focusing on the ingredients, they also focus on the packaging of their products and have worked to ensure their company’s management is substantially women. Definitely pop over to their website to learn more. I’ve tried many of their products, including their deodorant and body lotion.

Tata Harper

This has been another staple in my skincare routine. All of their products (except for a couple) are rates as “good” or “excellent” on the Yuka app. I love their moisturizers and cleansers. My favorite product is their illuminating moisturizer.
